FAQs
How often should I turn my reeds? Turning your reeds is always a good idea to keep the scent flowing throughout your space. How often you do this depends on how strong you like your scent. For a consistently strong scent we recommend turning your reeds once or twice a week, but it is totally up to you. If you would rather a more subtle scent, turn less. You might find after a few months if you still have diffuser oil left, the scent throw may start to decline even if you have been turning regularly. This could be your sign that you need to replace the reeds all together. Don't panic! You can buy replacement reeds in our store.
My reeds have dyed the diffuser oil. Is that ok? Yes this is totally normal, in fact we LOVE when this happens because it creates such a beautiful colour combo with the glass vessel. You do not need to do anything about this, just enjoy the colourful magic. It wont affect the scent at all.
What do I do when my diffuser oil is finished? So your oil has come to the end? do not fear! We have your back. Keep your glass vessel (this is reusable again and again) and you can buy refills of your fave scents from our online store, or why not try a new scent and see how you get on?
I still have lots of oil left but the smell in the room isn't as strong as it was before. That is totally normal. If you have been turning your reeds regularly and the smell still isn't strong, but you have loads of oil left, it could be that your reeds have fully absorbed and need to now be replaced. Do not panic, you can buy new reeds from our store if this happens, to refresh your diffuser.
My item has arrived damaged in the post. What should I do? Well this totally sucks and we are so so sorry about this! We wrap everything securely and clearly state the item is fragile on the box for delivery, but occasionally this might happen. The best thing to do is contact us straight away by email, take a photo of the damaged goods and we will sort it all out for you.
I don't like the scent I have bought, can I exchange for another one? We are almost positive this wont happen often, but in the case that you don't really like the scent, we are so so sorry but unless the diffuser oil bottle is still sealed, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for unsealed scents. You are totally welcome to try one of our other scents however, by buying a refill of an alternative scent.
I am not sure what scent to buy. Am I able to get a sample? If you are not sure about what scent to buy, send us an email and we will see what we can do for you.
Can I pour your diffuser oil into a plug in water diffuser? No!!! Please don't do this. It might seem like a great idea but our oils have been made for reed diffuser diffusing only. They should not be diffused in any other way.
Are reed diffusers safe for pets? In general, yes because you are not diffusing huge amounts of concentrated essential oils into the air, however you really need to keep them away from your pets in terms of them touching and eating it. This can be very harmful. You might want to seek advice from your vet about the use of essential oils in your home and your pets if you are really unsure.
